Refund Policy
Please note: Digital products are non-refundable once access has been provided or a download has begun.
By purchasing, you expressly agree that delivery of the digital content starts before the withdrawal period ends and that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal (according to § 356 (5) BGB under German law).
No refunds will be issued after access to the product has been granted.
For services (e.g., coaching), the statutory regulations and the detailed cancellation policy in the Terms & Conditions apply.

§ 1 Scope of Application
(1) These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between the provider and both private customers (as defined in § 13 BGB) and business customers (as defined in § 14 BGB) via the online shop at https://www.active-paws-academy.de.
(2) Deviating terms and conditions of the customer shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.
(3) The offered products include: online self-study courses, e-books and PDFs, group coaching and individual consulting.
(4) The offered services include: personal coaching.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
(1) The contract is concluded with the provider: Sarah Wettengel, Heideweg 1, 97896 Freudenberg.
(2) Contract and negotiation language is German.
(3) The offers are directed exclusively at customers with a delivery address within the European Union.
(4) Customers must be at least 18 years old.
(5) The product presentation in the online shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to submit an order. By completing the order process and clicking the button “Place binding order”, the customer submits a binding offer. Order confirmation is sent automatically by email but does not yet constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded only upon explicit acceptance by email or by delivery of the product/service.
(6) Orders exceeding normal household quantities require explicit approval.
(7) After conclusion of contract, order data will be stored and can be viewed in the customer account.
(8) The customer agrees to receive invoices electronically.
§ 3 Right of Withdrawal (Private Consumers)
(1) Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer (who is not the carrier) received the last item.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform the provider via a clear declaration (e.g., letter or email).
(2) Consequences of withdrawal: All payments received, including standard shipping costs, will be refunded within fourteen days of receipt of the withdrawal notice. Refunds use the same payment method unless otherwise agreed. The provider may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or proof of return is provided.
Goods must be returned within fourteen days at the customer’s expense.
The customer is liable for loss in value resulting from handling unnecessary to establish nature, characteristics, or functioning of the goods.

(3) Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal.
§ 4 Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
(1) No withdrawal right exists for custom-made goods, perishables, sealed hygiene products after unsealing, or goods inseparably mixed with others.
(2) No withdrawal right exists for fully performed services when the consumer agreed to the start of performance before the withdrawal period ended and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right.
(3) No withdrawal right exists for digital products and services once delivered online and accessed by the customer.
§ 5 Prices and Shipping Costs
(1) All prices include German VAT.
(2) Prices include shipping unless otherwise stated.
(3) If a product is mistakenly listed at the wrong price, the provider will inform the customer before shipping.
(4) Prices valid at the time of order apply.
(5) A customer account is required to place an order.
§ 6 Customs
Customers outside the EU may incur import duties and taxes, which must be paid by the customer. Customs processes may delay delivery and are outside the provider’s control.
§ 7 Payment Terms
(1) Payment is due upon contract conclusion.
(2) Advance payment: must be made within 5 calendar days.
(3) PayPal, SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay are accepted payment methods.
(4) The invoice is sent electronically.
(5) In case of payment default, the provider may claim damages (e.g., reminder fees).
§ 8 Retention of Title
Goods remain the provider’s property until full payment. During this time, the customer must treat goods carefully and notify the provider of third-party access (e.g., seizures).
§ 9 Delivery, Cancellation, Shipping
(1) Delivery time is approximately 1 business day unless stated otherwise.
(2) Delivery occurs to the address provided by the customer.
(3) If items become unavailable, the customer will be informed.
(4) Delivery depends on chosen payment method.
(5) Orders may arrive in multiple packages, each forming a separate contract.
(6) Cancellation is possible before dispatch; afterwards only under withdrawal rules.
(7) Partial deliveries are allowed when reasonable.
(8) If delivery fails due to customer error, the provider may withdraw from the contract.
(9) If the provider is not supplied by its own supplier, the provider may withdraw from the contract.
(10) For digital products, download links are provided after payment; withdrawal expires upon starting the download.
(11) Force majeure extends delivery times; the provider may withdraw.
(12) The provider is not liable for delays due to force majeure.
§ 10 Transport Damage
Customers should immediately report visible transport damage but failure to do so does not affect legal warranty rights.
§ 11 Warranty
(1) For consumers, statutory warranty applies for two years.
(2) Used goods may have a shorter warranty.
(3) For business customers, warranty is limited to one year (except for injury to life, body, health, intent, or gross negligence).
(4) The provider may choose the type of remedy (repair or replacement).
§ 12 Liability (Consumers)
Liability follows statutory provisions. The provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence except for injury to life, body, or health, essential contractual obligations, or delay damages.
§ 13 Liability (Business Customers)
Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, with exceptions for injury to life, body, health, and essential obligations.
§ 14 Data Protection
Processing of personal data follows applicable laws. Customers may request access, correction, or deletion.
§ 15 Offsetting and Right of Retention
Offsetting is permitted only with undisputed or legally established claims. Retention rights apply only to the same contractual relationship.
§ 16 Special Provisions for Digital Products
Digital products are delivered by download/email. The customer must ensure technical compatibility. Warranty for defects follows legal provisions.
§ 17 Usage Rights for Digital Content
The customer receives a non-transferable, perpetual, simple right of use unless otherwise agreed. Reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
§ 18 Customer Account
Customers must provide accurate information, safeguard login data, and update changes. Misuse may lead to account deletion.
§ 19 Changes to the Terms
The provider may amend these terms with four weeks’ notice. Lack of objection constitutes acceptance.
§ 20 Force Majeure
Events beyond the provider’s control justify delays or withdrawal.
§ 21 Transfer of Contract
The provider may transfer rights and obligations to third parties with four weeks’ notice. Customers may terminate immediately.
§ 22 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
All legal relationships are governed exclusively by German law, excluding UN sales law.
For commercial customers, the place of jurisdiction is the provider’s business location.
§ 23 Online Dispute Resolution
The EU Commission provides an OS platform at https://www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The provider is not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings.
§ 24 Additional Agreement for Digital Products
Digital products are excluded from the 14-day return policy. No refunds, returns, or exchanges are possible. By purchasing, the customer waives the right of withdrawal, return, and refund.
§ 25 Final Provisions
(1) Contract language is German.
(2) Products are not sold to minors.
(3) If individual terms become invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
(4) Changes require written form.
(5) The provider reserves the right to update the website and terms at any time.
